Connect an exchange
Binance
Create a trade-only Binance API key.
- Open Profile → API Management → Create API, choose System generated, and name it (for example
cryptocontext). - After verification, edit the key's restrictions:
- keep Enable Reading on;
- for spot, turn on Enable Spot & Margin Trading;
- for perpetuals, turn on Enable Futures (USDⓈ-M);
- leave Enable Withdrawals off, and leave Permits Universal Transfer and internal transfer off;
- choose Restrict access to trusted IPs only and add the IP addresses shown on the connect page.
- Copy the API key and secret into Connections → Add connection → Live.
Binance menu names change from time to time; the permissions above are what we check.
