Bybit

Open Account → API → Create New Key and choose System-generated API Keys.
Choose API Transaction and Read-Write.
Restrict it to IPs: add the IP addresses shown on the connect page.
Permissions:
- for perpetuals, Contract (or Unified Trading) → Orders and Positions;
- for spot, Spot → Trade;
- no Wallet permissions at all: any Wallet permission (withdraw, transfer, sub-account transfer) gets the key rejected.
Copy the API key and secret into Connections → Add connection → Live.
